A renovation of a 1980s home in Kelvin Heights, the original Rimu timber has been strongly embraced to inform the new material palette. The altered spaces are linked through the use of rich brass elements, that provide a certain warmth and softness to the palette. The original and introduced Rimu timbers are complimented by the warmth of the Brass and allow the subtle palette to flow from the renovated bathrooms into children’s bedrooms and a downstairs living area.
