A playful twist on farmhouse style, the architecture challenges the traditional form with a steep gabled roof, balanced with heavy, poured in-situ concrete boxes. The raw materiality is continued by use of corten steel for feature elements.

Renovated for a subsequent owner, a bunkered schist clad garage was added, along with a corten clad sauna and a custom in-situ concrete spa pool that captures the amazing views across the Whakatipu basin.
